MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD -2- <br /> <br />2/6/03 <br /> <br />Occupancy through the Building Inspector. Mr. Moran made a motion to approve the <br />proposal as presented seconded by Mr. Alfonso. Unanimously carried <br /> <br />SUSHI NINE, DUI'CHESS SHOPPING PLAZA <br />Next on the agenda was the application of Sushi Nine located in the Dutchess Shopping <br />Plaza proposing to apply for a Liquor License. Applicant stated that he is not proposing <br />a bar type establishment - he wouM be just serving alcohol with meals. He understands' <br />that he is not to have a bar and he also understands that there will be no entertainment. <br />He stated his hours of operation are Sunday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. through <br />l O:OO p. m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. through l l :OO p. m. Applicant stated he needs <br />a letter from the Village of Wappingers Falls stating this is an allowed use before he <br />applies to the State Liquor Authority. Mr. Moran made a motion to approve the use <br />seconded by Mr. Alfonso contingent upon the State Liquor Authority giving their <br />pertnission and no bar or entertainment being there. Unanimously carried <br /> <br />MID VALLEY OILT 2558 SOUTH A VENUE <br />Next on the agenda was' the application of Mid Valley Oil, 2558 South Avenue with a <br />proposed enlargement to their snack shop. It was stated that applicant is not changing <br />the footprint of the building. As far as the parking requirements are concerned- there <br />will be one extra parking space needed There will be no cooking done on premises. <br />Applicant was informed that he would have to apply to the Building Inspector for a <br />Building Permit and necessary paperworlc Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the <br />expansion of the snack shop, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />MR. SHEDT PROPERTY ADJACENT TO PIZZA HUT <br />Mr. Algiers owner of the property sent a letter to the Board stating they were unable to <br />make the meeting and would be here for the next meeting. <br /> <br />FUTURAMA HOME FURNITURE~ ROUTE 9 <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from Futurama Home Furniture to be able to <br />occupy former JDCohn building on Route 9. Applicant stated as property owners they <br />are going to completely redo the parking lot - restripe it and clear it out. The striping <br />wouM be deferred to the Fire Chief and tenant. The last aspect of the property owners <br />responsibility would be to redo the sigrt Mr. Morris asked if applicant was planning to <br />do any repairs to the privacy fence in the rear of the property and applicant asked what <br />type offence the Board wouM like to see. Applicant stated they like to use a Board on <br />Board type of fencing and the Planning Board had no objection to this. There will be no <br />alterations to the parking lot -just renovations. Dumpster location was brought up and <br />applicant stated it wouM be put in the rear of the building and a dampster enclosure <br />wouM be put on the site plan. Applicant stated they would be keeping the loading dock~ <br />Applicant stated that tenant would be taking care of the front of the building and <br />applicant would be painting the rest of the building. Mr. Morris stated that they wouM <br />have to bring color samples to the Board to review as Architectural Review Committee. <br />There would also be other renovations to the Building.
