Officer for on site inspection ofbuiMing and present him with a sketch of the layout of <br />the building to determine ifa variance is needed. <br /> <br />SUBDIVISION A T THE INTERSECTION OF DUTCItF.$S A VENUE ~4ND <br />FULTON STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the discussion of subdivision sketch for the intersection of <br />Dutchess Avenue and Fulton Street for a residential subdivision. Applicant stated there <br />is a parcel of property lformerly Kennedy TrucMng) on Fulton Street which is in the R2F <br />zone. The proposal is for a four lot subdivision with two family houses on each lot. <br />Three of the lots wouM access Fulton Street and the fourth one would access Dutchess <br />Avenue. The property slopes from Fulton Street to Dutchess Avenue that is the reason <br />the houses are built so close to the front property Hne. It was stated that parking is not <br />allowed in the front of the building according to Section 151-19(D)(2) of the Zoning <br />Ordinance. It was also stated that the driveway would only be as wide as the garage - it <br />cannot continue across the front of the building. Mr. Morris stated minimally what the <br />Planning Board would like to see on the sketches is no parMng in the front and houses <br />not to close to the front lot line. He also mentioned that the applicant should keep in <br />mind the Victorian style motif that the Village likes to see when they are coming up with <br />architecturals. Applicant was also informed that he would have to make appearances <br />before the Village Board of Trustees for sewer tie in and curb cuts and Water Board for <br />water usage. <br /> <br />SHAHID JA VID FOR PAKASTANIAN GROCERY STORE - ROUTE 9 <br />Next on the agenda was the appearance by Mr. Javid for a proposed sign for the above <br />address. The Board reviewed the proposed sign and applicant stated he would have the <br />formal application to the Code Enforcement O~cer the next day because his landlord <br />had not yet signed it. He stated his frontage is 32ft. and the sign measures 20 sq. ft. <br />which is in conformance. After review by the Board Mr. Alfonso made a motion to accept <br />the sign as presented contingent upon Mr. Kolb reviewing the application for <br />conformance. Mr. Karge seconded the motion. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />GIGGLES RETAIL STORE~ 4 OLD ROUTE 9 <br />Next on the agenda is the proposal for expansion of the retail store located at 4 Old <br />Route 9 - Giggles. Applicant stated he would like to expand 300 sq. ft. in the same <br />building that he is presently located in. There was a dividing wall between spaces and he <br />plans on taking down the wall and opening the whole thing up. The purpose would be for <br />a video room. Applicant stated it would be used for just retail sales and rentals of the <br />videos - there would be no viewing done on site. Mr. Karge stated that everything that <br />was outlined in the original certificate of occupancy is still in effect. At this point Mr. <br />Karge made a motion to accept current proposal again stating that all conditions listed <br />on the original certificate of occupancy are still in effect and purpose is for retail sales <br />and rental- no viewing on site. Motion seconded by Mr. Alfonso.
