Public Hearing on the proposed uses of Federal Revenue SharinG funds <br />in the Village budget for the fiscal year 1984-85 was held on 3-22-84 <br />at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor gynnett, Tr. Greco, Tr. CiopDa, Tr. Costa, Tr. Mazochi, <br />Tr. Carey, Tr. Perrego, Atty. byons and Treasurer Campilii. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported purpose of the Hearing was to provide residents of <br />the community with the opportunity to present their oral or written <br />comment on the possible~ of said' funds. <br /> us~s <br />Only one resident present and no one voiced a comment pro or con on the <br />use of Revenue sharing funds. <br /> <br />Treasurer Campilii reported last year Village received $27,504. in Revenue <br />sharing funds based on the calendar year, which were distributed as <br />follows: Police ($14,000.), Garbage and refuse ($13,504.). <br />He stated Village received $8,614. for i~s first installment this year <br />and Village's share was up by $8,000. for an approximate total of $94,456. <br /> <br />Arty, Lyons reported uses could be changed at the Public HG. on the <br />budget. <br /> <br />Public Hearing closed 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Board went into special meetinG following Hearing and a motion was made <br />by Tr. Carey~ seconded by Tr. Greco that the Clerk be directed to send <br />a letter to the State advising them Village was dissatisfied with the <br />drainage problems which exist on Rte. 9D, as a result of the repaying, <br />and request a meeting to discuss same.
