A Workshop session was held on 2-28-85 at 7=O0 P.No in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> Present= Mayor Synnett, Tr. Greco, Tr. Cioppa, Tr. Costa, Tr. Nazochi, <br /> Tr, Boyle, Eng. CaPar and Hr. James Snowden. <br /> <br /> Mayor Synnett reported Board inspected the DiMarco property and inquired <br /> about drainage, <br /> <br />'Mr. Snowden repotted property had a natural drainage basin and same was <br />private property with a natural water course. He stated Village couldn't <br />Justify improving private property., <br /> <br /> Discussion followed on the drainage problems in the area and the liability <br /> of the Village. <br /> <br /> Tr. Greco reported Mr, DiNarco's major concern was the increasing of the 36" <br /> pipe as it crosses East Main St. <br /> <br /> Mr. Snowden reported his indication was that Mr. DiNarco wanted entire <br /> strea~ piped to Oak Park. <br /> <br /> Mayor Synnett reported certain conditions laid out when Village purchased <br /> property for tank. <br /> <br /> Discussion followed on Presidential park drainage. <br /> <br /> Motion by Tr. Greco, seconded by Tr. Mazochi that Mr. Barger be directed to <br /> come in and Village ~ng. inspect same. Carried. <br /> <br /> Eng. LaPar reported there was legal question aa Village going on to private <br /> property and we probable would need easements should any work be done on <br /> the property, <br /> <br /> Action tabled pending Engineer drawing up plans and a legal opinion is had. <br /> <br />Notion by Tr. Mazochi, seconded by Tr. Greco that the job estimate for <br />repairs to the recreational facilities be approved at a price of $3125. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cioppa, seconded by Tr. Greco that the Village hire Richard <br />Archer as a full time Police officer. Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />Village Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
