The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on 9-11-85 at 7~30 P.M. in the Village Hall, Present: Mayor iynnett~ Tr. Oreco, Tr. Cioppa, Tro Komornik, Tr. Boyle, Tr. $chinella and Atty, Reilly, Minutes: The reular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees held.on 8-14-85; Informational meeting held on 8-20-85 and a special meeting held 8-27-85 had been duplicated and previously presented to Board ~embers. MOtiOn by Tr. Oreco, seconded by Tr. Komornik that the above minutes be accepted as~written. ~ar~eorrected. One correction - Special meeting 8-27-85~ Tr. Schinella's name excluded from vote on page 2. Discussion followed on the drainage problems on Delavergne Ave. in conjunction with the TrieMunicipal project. Tr. Schinella reported two me, begs of the sub-committee were trying to resolve complaints of residents. He stated a meeting was held 9-10-85 at which he, Tro Cioppa and members of the Tri-Municipal proj&ct inspected area. Tr. Schinella reported'there was an excessive amount of water not going into the storm drain causing excessive flooding. He stated Tri-Municipal ~greed to make temporary repairs as soon as possible and final repairs after pre ssure testing. Discussion followed on curb cut problems on Nelson Ave. by Marcojohn and Engineer will make revisions and Corrections. Line will also be lelevisedo Tr. Schinella reported culverts on Nelson & Delay, rrm, Ave.'s. were cleaned of debris and Tri*municipal directed to clean North St. and Nelson Ave. He discussed problem on North St. as a result 6f the road drain being higher than the road grade. Tr. Schinella reported storm drains and road have to be cut to let the water run off. He stated Tri-Municip&! agreed to repair first 3 items pm list and the Village the last two. Mayor Synnett reported it was not a Village proble~ as water pockets'never existed before project started. He stated he was against Village crews doing any repairs as it was not our project ~nd we have made efforts to alleviate Problem previously. Tr. Cioppa reported grade of road was a problem but other things had to be corrected first. He suggested cleaning drains, make cut on North St.'and bill Tri-Municipal; Tro Cioppa stated Police and Highway should also submit a bill to Tri-Munictpal for services rendered. Tr. Greco reported that when Delay,rome was dug up, drain was disturbed, and a w&sh out occurred on that street because water wasn't going into drain. Tr. Schinella reported contractor acknowledged fact that road had been disturbed and drainage is to be repaired.
