The regular meeting oi the Village Board of Trustees was held <br />on Nednesday, September 25,1985 at 7=30 p.m. at the Village Hall on <br />Spring Street. <br /> <br /> Present~ Mayor Synnett, Trustees Boyle, Cioppa, Costa, Greco, <br />Komornik, and Schinella, also Att'y Reilly. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Greco, ~econded by Tr. Costa that the minutes o£ the <br />previous meeting be accepted. -carried. <br /> <br />The Mayor made reference to the'recent break of the wa~er main on <br />Main Street; and stated that there had not been adequate notification <br />to the Board liaison, the Village Hall, or the customers themselves. <br /> Tr. Greco said that that was t he responaibility of the office <br />personnel at the Water Dept. <br /> Tr. Schinella inquired as to'whether or not theee was a~current <br />~ergency Disaster Plan, and if~not, it should be updated. <br /> <br />Mr. Saxdo, of Mikl St. Complained about neighbors playing drums too <br />loud. <br /> <br />The Attorney responded that the ordinance needs to be up-dated, <br /> <br />Mr. Marco~ohn i~qUir~d as to the status of Nelson-Delavernge Avenues. <br /> <br />Trustee Schinella explained that Tri-Municipal would correct the <br />problems with the roadway within the next two weeks, and that the <br />paving would start around the first of October. He also observed <br />that with the reports of a hurricane coming that the c~ontractor <br /> would be advised that staked down hay bales were inadequate to <br />protect against run-off flooding, as they would merely wash into and <br />clo9 ~he drains. He further requested that the Highway Dept. look <br />into clearing the drains~ particularly the b~ culvert at the inter- <br />section of Nelson and Delavergne, <br /> <br />Trustee Greco said they would look into it, but the crew hed~been <br />busy with a lateral on Clinton Street, and would be assisting the <br />water dept. wi~h the main break on Bast Main Street. <br /> <br />Trustee Schinella also mentioned that the hydrant at Spring and <br />Pelham still was in need of repair. <br /> <br />Abandoned cars: <br /> <br />Trustee Boyle reported that the abandooedccars at Oak Park were being <br />removed, if not by the ewners, then~ the owners' expense. <br /> <br />Trustee Schinella recommended that the arrangements with the tow~sg <br />service be finalized as to costs and an accounting of what cars were <br />towed be supplied, <br /> <br /> <br />
