The ~'m~regular monthly meeting o~ the Village Board of Trustees was held <br />.on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1985 at 7=30 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />present= Mayor Synnett, Tr.Greco, Tr. Cioppa, Tr. Costa, Tr, u~qneea~k, Tr. <br />Boyle, Tr. Sehinella, Atty. Reilly and Treasurer Caapiliio <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees held <br />Oct. 9, 1985 had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Tr. Cioppa reported there was one correction to the 9-25-85 meeting: Recreations <br />meetings changed not to the 4th Tuesday but the 4th Thursday. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. C~co, seconded by Tr. Boyle that the above minutes be <br />accepted as written and correated. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Donald giotto, member of the Board o£ Trustees, Methodist Church, stated <br />he approached the Water Department for assistance to install a 1" wa~er line <br />to the parsonage as present line was inadequate but has never received a <br />response. <br /> <br />Mayor Synne~ reported he would contact Water Department and acquire date as <br />to when this assignment can be carried out. <br /> <br />Mr. Vinsentin, 78 Mesier Ave. S., stated he was informed that plans have been <br />filed for a tempo=sty structure across the street. He inquired if a variance <br />was granted for a variance as the neighbors were never notified. He reported <br />he wrote the Zoning O~ficer, copy to the Village Board. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett reported plans were submitted for a prefabricated house and he had <br />no knowledge of a trailer. <br /> <br />Deputy Zoning Enforcement Officer Graco read the following excerpt from the <br />minutes of the Planning Board dated 10-3-8S: <br /> <br />A map of thesurvey prepared by Mr. Richard Barger indicates Mr. Brans proposes <br />to erect a temporary manufactured home on a lot in his possession. Please be <br />advised that there a~e numerous manufactured homes in the Village and the <br />Zoning Ordinande does not prohibitsame providing they are on a permanent <br />~oundation or a permanent slabeo <br /> <br />The Code of the Villpge of Wappingers Falls covers house trailers and as <br />~ar as this office is concerned, Chapeer 15 of the Code of the Village is <br />still operativi and use by the office of the Zoning Enforcement O~ficer. <br /> <br />It is the opinion of the office of the Zoning Enforcement Officer that there <br />is no con~lict with the Zoning Ordinance of the Village adopted by the Board <br />o~ Trustees in 1970, nor with the provisions of Chapter 15 of the Code of <br />the Village, so long as Mr. Evans obtains approval from the Water Board for <br />water and sewer ~rom the Village Board of Trustees. Mr. Evans would also have <br />to momply with the required setbacks as stipulated by the affiiece:~f the <br />Zoning Officer. <br /> <br /> <br />
