A Public Hearing on proposed local law No. I of 1986 entitled" A Local Law regulating and restricting parking ~n certain sections ef t.be parking area facing Mesiet Park on Spring St., Wappingers Falls, NY.. was held on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1986 at 7:00 P.M. in Village Hall. Present: Acting Mayor Costa, Tr. Oreco, Tr. Cioppa, Tr. Komotnik~ Tr. Schinella and Atty. Eeilly. Mayor Synnett and Tr. Boyle absent due to illness. Tr. ¢ioppa repotted law would provide 3 parking spaces for persons conducting business at the Village Hall. Discussion followed on installation and wording of signs. No one present voiced an opininn pro or con. Public Hg. closed 7:10 a Public Hearing on proposed local law No. 2 entitled ,Local Law prohibiting parking on sections of Spring St. in the Village of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. was held ~n 1-8-85 at 7:10 P.M. Tr. Cioppa repotted law would prohibit parking on the west side of Spring St. from a point commencing at the intersection of ~ast Main St. and and Spring St. and extending to the intersection of Spring St. and High St. Also, prohibitgparking on the east side of Spring St. from the intersection of 9pring and High streets and extending northerly therefrom to the extreme northerly end of said Spring St. Discussion followed on signs being taken down and possible more protective methods of installation. Tr. Cioppa reported sigges have not been installed on the turn on West Main St. and Upper Henry St. No one present voiced an opinion pro or con said law. Public Hg. closed 7:20 P.M. A public HO. on proposed local law #3 entitled" A Local Law prohibiting parking on a certain section of the south side of High St. between the intersections of High St, with Mill St. & Remsen Ave. N. in Wappingers Falls~ N.Y. was held on 1-8-86 at 7:30 P.M. Tr. Scbinella reported street narrows down and residents requested change. He stated there were serious accidents at the intersection of Mesier Ave. and High St. and same should be a four way stop. No one voiced an opinion pro or con and public hg. closed 7:30 P.M.
