The second monthly meeting of the Village Board of Trustees <br />was held on May 27, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinzmann, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. DiDomizio. Tr. <br />Komornik, Tr. Shay, Tr. Bain, Tr. Usavich. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br /> <br />Minutes if a special meeting held May 1, 1992 had been dup- <br />licated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Kom ornik, seconded by Tr. DiDomizio that the <br />above minutes be accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Appointment of Deputy Clerk: <br /> <br />Committee interviewedvarious candidates and after determination <br />concurred that Maria Gilbride was the most qualified person <br />to fill this position. <br /> <br />Motion by tr. Usavich, second ed by Tr. Komornik that Maria Gilbride <br />be appointed deputy Village Clerk, with a probationary period of up <br />to six months, if necessary, and this to be determined by the Village <br />Board. Carried. <br /> <br />Enforcement of Villaqe ordinances: <br />Mayor ~inzmann discussed provisions realtive to enforcement <br />procedures of the Weed and Trash ordinance. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain stated that, unless someone filed a ccomplain%, no one <br />was investigating as to the existence of violations. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on %he responsibilities and duties of the <br />Police Department. <br /> s <br />Tr. Bain inquired if ordinance/were written in a way where proper <br />enforcement cannot be followed up. <br /> <br />Legislative comm. %o meet with Police Commissioner in an effort <br />to solve problem. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain read letter from Police Officer Ogden to the Village Clerk <br />out.lining violations and irregularities which were taking place <br />at Veteran's Park and requested direction from the Village Board. <br /> <br />D~scussion followed as to possible solutions to the vandelism <br />and other problems which are taking place at our various Parks. <br /> <br />Park curfew to be strictly enforced and Legislative Comm. to <br />investigate Village Code pertaining to these matters. <br /> <br /> <br />
