Kc~rnik. <br /> <br />~%yor Hinzmann read text of the proDosed local law in its entirety. <br /> <br />A resident addressed hearing stating this DroDosal would be beneficial to the <br />Village as sm~e would enhanc~ our economic condition and allc~¢ our c~t,~nity to <br />grow and be maintained in an orderly fashion. <br /> <br />,ir. Hamilton representing 'irs. Boldrin. said his major objections was the neglect <br />of .~enior citizen interests and their oroperties being devalued. <br />He said it was his understanding that these two properties could be made .part of <br />the orooosal but now was told that, due to a techinicality, action ba-~ to be with- <br />held. <br /> <br />Att?. Viglotti reoorted there were no objections to orouosal but _application for <br />the rezoning must be made and nrocedures must be followed. <br />He said he forsaw no negative impact that would result frc~ the rezoning of these <br />~.~ oarcels of orouerty, nrovided a~olication is made and ~rocedures are followed. <br /> <br />~ir. Hamilton reoorted this was a orocedural matter and should b~ve been rectified <br />frc~ the start as these pro.?~rties have been abandoned by this ~rocess and the <br />Villaqe's first interest should be that of its residents. He stated this was dis- <br />criminatory rezoning and there was no reoresentation. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain stated he and Tr. Usavich both reoresented the Thir~ Ward and were never <br />contacted by .~rs. Boldrin relative to this proposal. <br />He said that no one was looking out for her interests was not a true statement. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain reported he has been a member of the Village Board of Trustees for the past <br />one and one-half years and th_is was the most-immortant vote he b~ to cast which <br />will alter the long term?ro ~%0ects of the Village and hopefuly will prove to be an <br />asset if done ..oositively. <br /> <br />He stated propo_ sal has been discussed oublicly and privately and he has reached a <br />conclusion, .~rith reservations, and these reservations have been brought to the <br />attention of the Planning Board. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain recut~epxted letter frc~ D.C. Planing Deoartment be a guide for our Planning <br />Board and discussed the following Points outlined in the letter,~ <br /> <br />1. Strongly suggest that the Board clearly state that any future c~_rcial develop- <br />ment or dubclivision of theeastern portion of this prope_ rty will be contingent on the <br />orovision of a sefvice road through this pr .operty and connecting with the traffic <br />light between MCDonald's and Ben and Jerry's. <br /> <br /> <br />
