<br />Minutes following the 10/14/09 Village Board Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS <br /> <br />T <br />HE CHAIR DECLARED THE PUBLIC HEARING OPEN <br />C <br />LERK READ PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br /> <br />The Village of Wappingers Falls will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday the 14th of <br />October, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at 7 Spring Street, Village of Wappingers Falls. This Public <br />Hearing will be to discuss Local Law # 8 for the Year 2009, Graffiti Abatement within <br />the Village of Wappingers Falls. <br /> <br />At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matters thereof will be heard <br />concerning the same. <br /> <br />Mayor Alexander opened the Public Hearing at 7 pm. Village Attorney Viglotti explained <br />the purpose of the proposed local law in detail. Few questions were raised by the Board <br />and public, all seemed to be in favor of the proposed new law. <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Cerino to close the Public Hearing. This Public <br />Hearing will be to discuss Local Law # 9 for the Year 2009, regarding the treatment and <br />abatement of broken windows within the Village of Wappingers Falls. <br /> <br />At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matters thereof will be heard <br />concerning the same. <br /> <br />Mayor Alexander opened the Public Hearing at 7:15 pm. Village Attorney Viglotti <br />explained the purpose of the proposed local law in detail. Windows with minor cracks are <br />not the intent but rather missing windows or windows with broken pieces of glass which <br />could cause injury . Few questions were raised by the Board and public, all seemed to be <br />in favor of the proposed new law. <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Marshall to close the Public Hearing.
