<br />Minutes following the 2/10/10 Village Board Meeting <br /> <br />2/10/10 <br /> <br />T <br />HE CHAIR DECLARED THE PUBLIC HEARING OPEN <br /> <br />C <br />LERK READ PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br /> <br />LEGAL NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN <br /> that the Board of Trustees of the Village of <br />th <br />Wappingers Falls will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on the 10 day of February, 2010, <br />at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 7 Spring Street, Wappingers Falls, New York, <br />at which time all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard as <br />to whether the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls shall adopt a <br />proposed Local Law entitled "Local Law No. 2 of the Year 2010, Amending Chapter <br />143-62 of the Code of the Village of Wappingers Falls”. <br /> <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br /> that the purpose and intent of the proposed <br />Local Law is to amend Chapter 143-62 of the Code of the Village of Wappingers Falls so <br />as to establish a no parking here to corner zone along South Mesier Avenue at its <br />intersection with Prospect Street and along North Mesier Avenue at its intersection with <br />High Street. <br /> <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br /> that a copy of the proposed Local Law is <br />available for review and inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk on weekdays from <br />8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 2628 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New <br />York. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Alexander opened the Hearing explaining the intent of the local law. Trustee <br />Visentin said that placing the no parking here to corner signs will allow motorist a clearer <br />view of oncoming traffic. Mayor Alexander asked if the Board had any comments. None <br />replied. Mayor Alexander asked if the public had any questions or concerns. None <br />Replied. Motion by Trustee Kirstein to close the public hearing. Seconded by Trustee <br />Cerino.
