This
includes the match for project worksheets (PW's) in the Village of Wappinger Falls. The funding for the
match came from the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Develapmer7t Block Grant
Disaster Recovery program (CDBG-DR). These funds are managed by the Governor's Office of Storm
Recovery (GO5R).
Similar to the PA program, CDBG-DR funds have programmatic requirements that the state must comply
with to satisfy Federal requirements. In the process of compiling files for HUD regarding match
payments made by the State far the Village of Wappinger Falls we have learned that we need to meet
with your staff to obtain HUD required documentation. The GOSR is already utilizing the Federal E-
Grants database (EMMIE) to obtain the necessary documentation far HUD. While the documentation
contained in EMMIE meets FEMA`s programmatic requirements, some documents that HUD requires
are not maintained in the EMMIE database.
The documentation that we need by project worksheet is attached.
GOSR would like to set an appointment for Friday, July 25th at 1:30 PM at your offices to review and
scan the documents needed to complete the files. GOSR staff will perform the work to minimize the
burden that this document collection process may have on your staff.
If you prefer to submit the documents, it is respectfully requested that the documents be scanned and
submitted to our office within fourteen (14) days sa that they may be placed in the file at the Governor's
Office of Storm Recovery,
25 Beaver Street I New York, NY 10004 ~ Recovery Hotline: 1-$55-NYS-SANDY (www.stormrecovery.ny.gov
