Ms. Michele Rocque
proprietor of the business was present. Mr. Morris stated for the record that a new zoning
ordinance had just been approved and since Ms. Rocque had her application into the Zoning
Enforcement Officer before the new ordinance was passed, the Board will be reviewing her
application against the former code. Ms. Rocque presented an application for sign permit and
sketch of the sign. The application was reviewed for conformance to the “old” code and it was
determined that it conformed to that code. It will be a single faced wall sign on the front of the
building. It will be a white background with black letters therefore no color samples were
necessary. There will be a 48” LED bar Light lighting the sign. Specs of the light bar were
attached to the submission and are on file in the Planning/Zoning offices. At this point Mr.
Regan made a motion to approve the sign and light bar as submitted seconded by Ms. Kieffer.
Unanimously carried. Mr. Morris stated that the applicant had submitted his application to the Offices of
Planning and Zoning on September 16, 2014 and the new ordinance was not approved until
September 24, 2014 – therefore all discussions and determinations will be based on the “old”
code. First the use was discussed. It was confirmed by Zoning Enforcement Officer Murphy
that the use was an approved use for that district. After reviewing the submission for
completeness, Ms. Kieffer made a motion to approve the use as proposed, seconded by Mr.
