<br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD MAY 14, 2015 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chairman, Bonnie Kieffer, Vice Chair, Don McCormick, Mike <br />Kocan, Bob Relyea, George Moran (Alternate), Lisa Cobb (Attorney) and Mary Ann Loncto, <br />Secretary. <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Cathy Mazochi George Kolb <br /> Sarah Bower Harry Terbush <br /> Jay Paggi Michele Greig <br /> Bryan Murphy Cindy Wang <br /> Scott Pietras Frank Buyakowski <br /> William Povall Dave Stenger <br /> Brian Watts Dennis Lynch <br /> Alan Weitlich Gail Weitlich <br /> Christine Cauda Cassandra McCall <br /> Steven McCall <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Morris noted there were a few changes to the <br />meeting minutes of April 2, 2015 – (1) Page 4, Heading for 110 Market Street – correct spelling <br />of “Market”, (2) Page 4 under 110 Market Street – Line 9 – should say, “Ms.” Greig, (3) Page <br />6 under Village – Vet’s Field – Line 5 –should say “now 18’ x 22’) and (4) Page 6 under <br />Weitlich – line 8/9 should read, “…tear down the old gasoline station…” Mr. McCormick made <br />a motion to accept the minutes as corrected, seconded by Mr. Moran. On roll call vote – Mr. <br />Morris – Aye, Mr. McCormick – Aye, Mr. Moran – Aye, Mr. Kocan – Aye, Mr. Relyea – <br />Abstain and Ms. Kieffer – Abstain. <br /> <br />WINE BAR – 1 MARKET STREET <br />First on the agenda was the public hearing on the request of Scott Pietras, 10 Cover Road, <br />Rhinebeck, NY for a Special Use Permit in conjunction with site plan review to be able to have a <br />Wine Bar which will occupy the entire building at 1 Market Street. Mr. Scott Pietras, Ms. <br />Christine Cauda, Mr. Steven McCall and Ms. Cassandra McCall, proprietors of the wine bar <br />were present. It was stated that there is a consent form on file from the owner of the building. <br />Ms. Kieffer made a motion to open the public hearing, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously <br />carried. Mr. Pietras stated that the first floor level will have the bar with tables and on the <br />second floor will also be seating with service also on the second floor. There may be a service <br />bar on the second floor also. The bathrooms will also be on the second floor. There will also be <br />a bathroom on the lower level where the kitchen and storage will be located. As far as music <br />goes – there will be no amplifiers just some acoustical guitar music. Mr. Morris stated he <br />noticed a deck on the plans and the applicants stated it will be on the first floor towards the stone <br />wall. The deck will be seasonal with seating. It was stated there will be umbrellas with the <br />tables for the outdoor seating and Mr. Morris reminded applicants to make it consistent with the <br />style of the building. It will be an upscale wine bar with appetizers. It was stated that all <br />notifications were sent to neighbors according to the code and legal notice was printed in the <br />May 4, 2015 edition of the Poughkeepsie Journal. Mr. Kocan asked about the portion of the <br />deck that was encroaching onto the adjacent property owners (George Kolb) property – has this <br /> <br />
