<br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD JUNE 2, 2016 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chairman, Bonnie Kieffer, Vice Chair, Don McCormick, Mike <br />Kocan, Bob Relyea, George Moran (Alternate), Lou Viglotti (Attorney) and Mary Ann Loncto, <br />Secretary <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Teresa Novick Marty Novick <br /> John Bodendorf Lydia Enson <br /> Judy Beck Trustee Komornik <br /> Allen Firstenberg Lisa Bauer <br /> Cathy Mazochi Jim Komornik <br /> Nancy Clark Michele Greig <br /> Colleen Brosco Gary Baright <br /> Rich Tompkins Brian Watts <br /> Richard Cantor David Stenger <br /> Anthony Kesselmark Elmi Berisha <br /> Michael Berta <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Motion by Ms. Kieffer, seconded by Mr. McCormick <br />to accept the minutes from the May 2016 meeting with the exception of page 3, 9 lines from <br />bottom should read, “….Ms. Clark will confirm if Health Department approval is necessary for <br />the proposed sanitary sewer lateral connected to the Village sewer as the Village Code requires <br />Dutchess County approval for new sewer connections for multiple dwellings.” Unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />The first item on the agenda – a proposed sign for Bernardi Electric/Village Gone Green at 1582 <br />Route 9 was pulled off the agenda by the applicant. <br /> <br />TERESA NOVICK, 38-46 FRANKLINDALE AVENUE <br />First on the agenda was the continuation of a public hearing on the request of Teresa Novick, 6 <br />Woodland Court, Wappingers Falls, NY seeking a Special Use permit in conjunction with site <br />plan review to be able to add two additional trailers to her property located at 38-46 Franklindale <br />Avenue. Mrs. Teresa Novick, owner of the property, her son Marty Novick and Jon Bodendorf, <br />her Engineer were present. Ms. Kieffer made a motion to open the public hearing, seconded by <br />Mr. Relyea. Unanimously carried. Mr. Bodendorf stated he does not have an updated site plan <br />because there are many items that need to be taken care of. He went on to state that he went <br />before the Village Water Board, had a meeting with the Village Water Operator and the Highway <br />Supt. and all comments/items from that meeting are being addressed. There was also a field <br />meeting with the Highway Supt. and Ernie Martin from KC Engineering to clarify a few design <br />items. He also spoke with the Fire Chief and feels that all of their comments have been satisfied <br />– although he does need to add some notes to the plan and the location of the propane tanks will <br />be addressed on the revised site plan. One item that is still outstanding is the applicant’s <br />definition of “near new or new trailers” that will be put on the site. And, finally Mr. Bodendorf <br />submitted a letter dated May 26, 2016 (copy on file in the Planning/Zoning offices) which refers <br />to three different parking scenarios.
