Regular meeting of lhe Village Board of Trustees was held on 10-13-82 at 7:30 v.M. in the American Legion Hall. mresent: Mayor Synnett, Tr..Greco, Tr. Cioppa, Tr. Costa, Tr. Mazochi, Tr. Brown, Tr. Carey, A~ty. Lyoans and Bngineers Paggi & Martin. Minutes: Minutes of the last regular Villag~ B~rd meeting held 9-8-~2 and public hearings and a special ~eetin~ held 9-2S-82 had been dt½plicated~and previously presented to Board members. Motion by Tr. Greco, seconded by Tr. Costa that the above minutes be accepted as written. Carried. Agenda: Ac, ion on application of Jack ~ Ann Armstrong for amendment of ~oning Ordinance previousl~ discus!ed a~ a Public Hearth9. The following letter received from the Planning Board: On August 6th, the Planning Board addressed a letter to you in regard to the resoning application of Mr. & Mrs. Jack Armstrong. ~$ that time, the Board recommended the following: 1. The property should be rezoned Office Business. 2. Restrictions should be placed upon the rezonin9 and these should be handled by the Villaoe Attorney and the Attorney for the Armstrongs. On October 7th, at the regular meeting of the Planning Board, the resorting application was again discussed. After review, study and discussion, the Planning Board ~akes the following recommendations: three Board members ~ecommend that the property remain zoned as it is; one Board member recommends that the orlgin~~ de=i~iom.~de on August 6th be adhered to; one Board member was absent. Atty. Lyons reported hearing was held on Zoning Amendment and protest submitted. He stated same contained sufficient owners to make it valid and adoption of amendment would require a three-quarter affirmative vote. The following roll call vote was taken on the proposed zoning change amendment: Tr. Brown (nay), Tro Cioppa (nay), Tr. Carey(nay), Tr. Co~ta-(nay), Tr. Gte co (nay), Tr. Mazochi (nay), Mayor Synnett (nay). Amendment rejected.
