Meeting was held on November l~ 1912 at 7:00 P.M. in the American l~Rion Hall. <br /> <br />Present~ Mayor Synnett~ Tr. Greco~ Tr. Cioppam Tr. Costam Tr. Mazochi~ <br />Tr. Brown, Tr. Carey~ ASty. Lyons~ Eng. Paggi and Hater Cmmmissioners <br />Berinato~ Chase and Catalano. <br /> <br />~lso present: Eng. LaPar, Atty. Roberts and Mr, Joel Sieberto <br /> <br />Purpose of the meeting was to discuss contract between Village and Myers <br />Corners Development Corp. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported there were two problems: <br /> <br />I. Payment for sewer service to date has not been rendered. He stated he <br />has had a check for payment since May and in a letter to Mr. Roberts dated <br />4-27-12, he computed amount due Village through 2~2a~82. <br />Atty. Lyons reported one quarter was deleted when costs were computed and <br />this amounted to $815.29. <br /> <br />2. In the initial agreement with Village, Myers Corners was to make certain <br />'improvements to water system which were incorporated in contract. He reported <br />that, before any physical improvements were made, action was deferred by <br />Village. <br /> <br />Atty. Roberts reported contract involved inline booster pump designed to <br />serve the Plaza and Village. He stated this proved to be not leasable and <br />an alternate solution was contemplated but meeting was never held to discuss <br />same. <br />Mr. 9oberts reported there was a problem with the sprinkler system. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported Village would like to substitute construction of a <br />water line on East Main St. from South Ave. to Mesier Ave. which would <br />close a major loop. He stated this involved 400 linear feet of pipe at <br />approximately $100. per ft. <br /> <br />Mr. Siebert ~tated that if this accomplished the needs for both parties, <br />he saw no objections. He reported there were 2 objectives: <br />1. Village needs improvements. 2. Plaza needs water. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett reported Water Dept. would work out details of the project. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported it wasn't the intent of contract to solve pressure problems. <br /> <br />~n9. LaPar reported it was never intent of contract to supply 45 lb. pressure <br />to sprinkler heads but to raise level in water tank. <br /> <br />Eng. Oagoi reported available pressure at peak hours sboulo be increased. <br /> <br />Mr, Roberts reported Myers Corners were not seekin9 to avoid any commitments <br />which were made to Village and sewer payments have been made to the <br />satisfaction of &try.
