Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />January 8, 1975 at 7~00 P.N. in the A~erican ~egion Hall. <br /> <br />Those present: Hayor iynnett, Tro Dolan, Tro DiBerto, Tr. Bain, Tr. Silvestrl, <br />Tr. Belding, Tr. Sh&rt and Attyo Lyons. <br /> <br />Mr. Finner~an addressed meeting in an effort to sub,arise and review .what has <br />'taken place with his property on Rte. 9. <br />He proposed a 4000 sq. ft. bldg. and a 2000 sq. ft. bank which would be erected <br />on 2 acres of land. <br />Hr. Finnerehan reported Hess Station would be a very small building with more <br />green gr&ss. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported D.C. Planning Bd. sent letter disapproving chan~e of <br />zoning to allow gasoline stations in a Central Business District but made <br />a re-determination ~fter reviewing additional info~ation and withdrew <br />their disapproval. <br /> <br />Hr. Finnerman stated Zoning Bd. issues permits /or gasol£ne stations. <br />He reported Governmental bodies toe--mended change and every gas station <br />is a non-c~nfor~ing use except one. <br /> <br />~ayor Synnett reported existing gasoline stations.were here before Zoning <br />Ordinance was adopted. <br /> <br />Finne~an reported 3 gasoline Stations have been eliminated in the Rteo9 <br /> and ordinance was wrong and should be corrected. <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan inquired as to what was trying to be resolved as hblic Hg. was <br />held and decision mapo. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported Hr. Finnerman was asking for a change o~ zoning. <br /> <br />Tr. DiBerto inquired if another building, other than a gas station, was being <br />considered and Mr. Finnerman replied no. <br /> <br />Nr. Finner~an requested another Public Hg. on the proposed a~endment and <br />Atty. LyOns replied O~dinance Co~.=ade a recommendation twice and saw no <br />need for another Public Hg. unless vote is changed. <br /> <br />Comunications: <br />Village Justice Reillyts report for month of Dec., 1974 was read showing a <br />total of $810.00 collected in fines. <br /> <br />~otion by Tr. Belding, seconded by Tr° Bain that the above report be accepted <br />aS read. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read fro~ D.C. Health Dept., ret~orting a Grade 111 Water Treatment <br />Plant Operator's course will be held sometime in Jan., 1975, depending upon <br />this response. Copy forwarded Water. Dept. <br /> <br />Hotion by Tr. Dolan, seconded by Tr. Silvestri that two men fro~ the Water <br />Dept, and one man from the Disposal be granted permission to attend above <br />mentioned course.
