141 Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, September 10~ 1975 at 7:00 PoMp in the American Legion Hallo Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr, Dolan, Tr, DiBerto, Tr, Bain, Tr, Silvestri~ Tr. ieldin9, Tr. Short and Arty, Lyons, Minutes 0f three Public Hearings and the regular meeting held Aug, 13~ 1975 had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. Motion by Tr, Silvestri, seconded by Tr, Short that the above minutes be accepted as written, Carried, Agenda: Attorney Crane addressed meeting stating he represented Mr, Weitltch~ co- owner cC Thornton's Service Statlon~ and requested a Publ$c Hearing on one or two alternative amendments to Local Law #1 regarding gasoline stations, He stated he didn't want to go into the merits of the proposal and provided Village Atty. with copies of amendments a & b~ which is as follows: a) 2000 feet radius between gasoline stations. b} 1500 fleet radius between gasoline stations, He requested a resolution be adopted setting date for public hearing at which time a. decison can be made. Tr, Silvestr! recommended Legislative Comm, meet with Arty, Lyons on proposed local law and a Public H9. be set. Atty. Lyons reported Mr. Crane has.requested frontage be increased to ~5' and this was included in both proposals, He stated there were ~wo proposals and local law should be specific. Tr. Silvestrl recommended Public Hg, be set on the 1S00' amendment, Tr, Short inquired as to how many stations would be non-conforming and Tr, OiBerto replied all, Tr. Dolan reported issue was a year old and should be settled. He made a motion that a Public Hg. be scheduled on amendment b. Seconded by Tr. Silvestrt, Tr, Belding reported Board should sit down and make a decision, Motion carried, I nay, Village Bd, to meet with Planning Board on the above on Sept,' 18~ 1975 at ' 7:00 PM. Mr. Joseph McCluskey presented preliminary report on the Mesier Homestead following several committee meetings.
