!'/7 <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />Dee. 10, 1975 at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayer Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tr. DiBerto, Tr. Bain, Tr. <br />Silvestri, Tr. Belding, Tr. Short and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Minutes of a Public Hearing and regular meeting held Nov. 12', a special <br />meeting held Nov. 18 and a special meeting held Dec. 2, 1975 had been <br />duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Tr. DiBerto wanted to correct the minutes of the regular meeting. He stated <br />that on page 167, under paragraph 6)Tr. Dolan should be quoted as saying <br />that people didn't tell him what to do that he made the decisions here. <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan stated he said people elected the representatives to make the <br />decisions. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Bain, seconded by Tr. Silvestrt that the minutes be <br />accepted as written and corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />A~enda: <br /> <br />~eport on saint Mary's easement: <br />Atty. Lyons reported Town of Poughkeepsie were to install a storm sewer <br />from Downey Ave. to St. Mary's and Village was to acquire an easement. <br />He stated we had difflculty in acquiring an easement from the New York <br />Archdiocese but, accordin~ to Msgr. Brennan, they were now willing to <br />cooperate. <br />Atty. Lyons stated agreement was made with the Town of Poughkeepsie <br />on May 16, 1974 and, due to the lapse of time, he didn't know if they <br />would install line. <br /> <br />Tr. Belding suggested abandoning project as St. Mary's had their <br />opportunity and same was costing the Village money. <br /> Attorney <br />Mayor Synnett suggested the/~%~X investigate the project further. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Silvestri, seconded by Tr. DiBerto that the Village Atty. <br />be authorized to investigate the above. <br /> <br />Tr. Belding stated installation of the sewer line was part of the original <br />agreement and Atty. Lyons replied that lapse of time waiting for the ease- <br />merit could be significant. <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan reported that, in reference to the above, there were many <br />restrictions imposed. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported Archodiocese was being over techinical and could change <br />their minds. He stated he would look into the easement and see if the <br />Town of Poughkeepsie would still provide funds. <br /> <br />Tr. Belding stated that he thought the Village Atty. was investigating the <br />possibility of getting the equivilant for the sewer fund. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 2 against. <br /> <br /> <br />
