Workshop session was held on 8-26-83 at 7:30 P.M. in th~ American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett~ Tr. Greco, Tr. Costa, Tr. Mazochi, Tr. Care~. Perreg( <br />and Atty. Lyons. /z~.__~ <br /> <br />Also present: Treasurer Campilii, Assessor Walker, Water Commissioners <br />Catalano, Berinato & Chase, Plannln9 Bd. Chairman Valachovic and Zoning Board <br />Chairman Savelli. <br /> <br />Assessor Walker discussed assessments for Locust Creek reporting there <br />were 11 bldgs, with 22 units and same were assessed at $8~OOO. & $8,400. <br />per unit. <br /> <br />~layor Synnett reported Village would have to provide sidewalks~ curbs, roads <br />and street lights for the above mentioned project. <br /> <br /> Motioh by Tr. Mazochi, seconded by Tr. Costa that, in reference to the <br />above mentioned project, no new Certificates of Occupancy be issued until <br />the contractor cleans up Clapp Ave. Carried. <br /> <br />Assessor Walker discussed assessments for the Medicare facility reporting <br />they received a 50~ construction~xempti°n- <br />He reported some assessments have decreased as a result of cer.~ioraires. <br /> <br />Treasurer Campi]ii reported there were outstanding Bond Anticipation Notes <br />on the purchase of the ~Kagen property for $24,000. and the purchase of a <br />Loader for $11,000. which should be paid off in 2 or 3 yrs. He reported <br />we had a $27,000. note on the purchase of the Weed Harvester. <br /> <br />Treasurer Cam~ilii reported notes for the Route 9D project were long term <br />and this was the last year for the bond issue on the water tank.' <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett reported sewer line on East ~]ain St. should be televised. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on broken sewer pipe on Clinton St. and the need for <br />new pipe on Nelson Ave., from Delaverge Ave. ~o Clinton St. <br /> <br />~otion by Tr. Greco, seconded by Tr. Perrego that the Village solicit for <br />informal bids for the television work on the sewer lines previously <br />mentioned. Carried. <br /> <br />~.;otion by Tr. ~%rey, seconded by 'Tr. Costa that the cost for televising <br />sewer lines be forwarded the State for reimbursement. Carried. <br /> <br />Treasurer Campilii reported original proposal for Rte.gD was $1,500.0OO <br />and same was reduced to $1~200,000. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on option to install water and sewer lines across Rte. 9. <br /> <br /> <br />
