The regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of <br />Trustees was held on wednesday, June 10, 1998 at 7:30 P.M. in <br />the A~erican Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Belding, Tr DiDomizio, Tr. Juliano, Tr. <br />Lawrence, Tr. Hinzmann, Tr. Hemingway, Tr. Goebel and Atty. <br />Viglotti. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br /> <br />Minutes of the last regular Village Board meeting held May <br />13, 1998. <br /> <br />Mayor Beldin~ said, due to a lengthy meeting, they were <br />still being prepared. <br /> <br />Agenda: <br /> <br />Application for a Peddler's license - Paul and Donna DiMarco <br />- request to sell pre-packaged Good Humor ice cream. <br /> <br />Applicant not present - deferred till later in meeting. <br /> <br />Application for a Peddler's license - Nidia Y. Valle - <br />request to sell pre-packaged Good Humor ice cream and candy. <br /> <br />Applicant not present- deferred till later in meeting. <br /> <br />Resolution - Greenway Trail: <br /> <br />Mr. Hank DiMarco,Acting Chairman of the Committee, addressed <br />meeting outlining course of the trail~ which was about 8 <br />and one half mile in length. He said DEC has requested we <br />adopt a resolution to adopt a resolution which would assist <br />the committee with maintaining wildlife corridor between the <br />wild life Bowdoin portion and the Audobon society and the <br />trail which would connect that with the Bowdoin trail. He <br />said existing trail traverses the Reese Audobon society <br />and leaves the property and runs on an adjacent 26 acre <br />parcel known as the Scheinberg property. <br />Mr. DiMarco said DEC wants to purchase this parcel, which the <br />family was willing to sell, and resolution would support that <br />effort. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Juliano that the <br />Village adopt a resolution in conjunction with the above. <br />Carried. <br /> (text of resolution follows minutes) <br /> <br />Authorize central Hudson Work Order for street light <br /> <br />Tr. Hinzmann said she had previously recived request for a <br />street light on Mesier Ave. S, near Methodist church, <br />inspected area with Central Hudson representative, and a work <br /> <br /> <br />
