<br />MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD MAY 4, 2017 <br />Present:Tom Morris, Chairman, Bonnie Kieffer, Vice Chair, Don McCormick, Trent <br />Atkinson, George Moran and Mary Ann Loncto, Secretary <br />Absent:Bob Relyea <br />Others Present:Trustee WhittenBryan Murphy <br />Grace RuseskasTrustee Huber <br />Brian StokosaKarissa Dudzinski <br />Jesse SantanaJohn Kihlmire <br />Nathan KerxhaliJamesBoglioli <br />Tracy Diehl <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Ms. Kieffer made a motion to approve the minutes <br />from the April 6, 2017 meeting as written, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried. <br />HANNOUSH SQUARE, 1659 ROUTE 9 <br />First on the agenda was a proposed road sign for Hannoush Square, 1659 Route 9. Ms. Grace <br />Ruseskas from Gloede Sign Works waspresent. It was stated that the applicant had received a <br />variance from the ZBA at their April 11, 2017 meeting to be able to have a larger road sign with <br />the condition that there would only be one road sign on the site and for larger building signs. It <br />was stated that the Hannoush Square portion of the sign would be black during the day and the <br />white light would come through at night. The tenant panels (as submitted) would be solid during <br />the day and the white light would come through at night. There is a consent form on file from <br />the owner of the plaza and color samples were submitted. Ms. Kieffer made a motion to approve <br />the sign as proposed contingent upon the sign being installed per the ZBA variance, motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Atkinson. Unanimously carried. The owner was instructed to obtain the <br />necessary permits before the sign is installed. <br />KARISSA DUDZINSKI PHOTOGRAPHY. 2689 WEST MAIN STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposed projecting sign for Karissa Dudzinski Photography, 2689 <br />W. Main Street. Ms. Karissa Dudzinski, owner of the business was present. It was stated that <br />there is a consent form on file from the owner of the building. Ms. Dudzinski stated that the <br />color is a bit off but it will be a dark gray. Mr. Murphy confirmed that the sign conforms to the <br />Zoning Ordinance. Ms. Dudzinski asked if she could add the word “photography” to the bottom <br />of the sign. There was no objection from the Planning Board and it was stated that she could not <br />change the size of the sign. Mr. McCormick made a motion to approvethe sign as proposed <br />with the word photography added if the applicant chose to do so contingent upon the applicant <br />submitting a color sample of the exact color of the sign. Motion was seconded by Ms. Kieffer. <br />Unanimously carried. The applicant was instructed to obtain the necessary permits before the <br />sign is installed. <br />BUCKINGHAM MANAGEMENT, CHANNINGVILLE ROAD/NELSON AVENUE <br />Applicant has removed himself from tonight’s agenda. <br /> <br />
