The regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of
Trustees was held on Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at 7:30 PM
in the American Legion Hall.

(Meeting scheduled for January 13, 1999 had to be postponed
due to the snow storm).

Present: Mayor Belding, Tr. Marshall, and
Recreation Chairperson, Veronica Robinson and Co-chairman,
Bruce Hayter.

AGENDA:

RESOLUTION APPOINTING INSPECTORS OF ELECTION:

Motion by Tr. Gcebel, seconded by Tr. Juliano that the above
resolution be adopted. Goebel that the above
resolution be adopted. Carried

(Text of resolution follows minutes of this meeting).

REQUEST FOR VILLAGE FINANCIAL AUDIT:

Tr. Juliano recommended same be tabled for Executive session
and Mayor Belding said same could be discussed in open
session.

Tr. Juliano said he wanted to conduct the same type audit in
the Village as had been done for Tri- Municipal, either
through private enterprise or Audit and Control.
He said the Tri-Muni audit saved them monies in Capital
funding but, before any action is taken, he would like to
discuss with the Board, the proposal he previously submitted,
or request Audit & Control perform the audit.

Treasurer Masterson said State audit is conducted every
three years and she has been expecting a letter as the last
Village audit was conducted in 1995.
She said the SMART program conducted by the State was not
the same as an audit as it didn't involve looking at the
books but overseeing our operations and we would have to
request that we be put on their scl~eduie for this program.
