The regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of <br />Trustees was held on Wednesday, June 9, 1999 at 7:30 P.M. <br />the American Legion. <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Belding, Tr. Juliano, Tr. Cerino, Tr. <br />Lawrence, Tr. Hinzmann, Tr. Hemingway, Tr. Davis and Atty. <br />Viglotti. <br /> <br />Also present: Police Lieut. Birdsell, Zoning Officer Alfonso, <br />Water Chairman Travis and Assessor Walker. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting of the Mayor and Village <br />Board of Trustees held May 12, 1999 had been duplicated and <br />previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Davis, seconded by Tr. Hemingway that the above <br />minutes be accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />COM~H/NICATIONS: <br /> <br />Village Justices' reports and Summary of Zoning fees <br />collected for May, 1999 on file at the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Juliano that the above <br />be approved. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter from Nicholas Cafaro, 55 West Main Mt., requesting <br />sidewalks and curbs, on the south side of Church street, be <br />replaced. Referred to Public Works. <br /> <br />Letter from Mr. Robert J. Jutton, Coordinator of Fine and <br />Performing Arts for the Wappingers Central School District, <br />to Mayor Belding, thanking Village for the use of Mesier Park <br />for their annual Festival of the Arts and requestinq <br />permission to conduct the event next year on May 13th or May <br />14th (rain date), 2000. Copies to Board and Park Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Belding said the Businessmen should try to coordinate <br />their Flea Mart on the same day as the above event draws a <br />lot of people and was a great day for our community. <br /> <br />Tr. Juliano said that, as was discussed last year, when this <br />type of event occurs, One Side of Street parking is in effect <br />on Park Ave. <br /> <br />Tr. Hemingway said the above has been discussed by the <br />Legislative Comm. and they will probably recommend this <br />restriction be made permanent. <br /> <br />Mayor Belding said, in the meantime, should an event occur, <br />signs will be installed. <br /> <br /> <br />
