The regular meeting of the ~ayor and Village Board of <br />Trustees was held on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at 7:30 P.M. <br />in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Belding, Tr. Julianof Tr. Cerino, Tr. <br />Lawrence, Tr. Hinzmann, Tr. Hemingway, Tr. Davis, Atty. <br />Viglotti. <br /> <br />Also present: Water Commissioner Travis, Assessor Walker, <br />Lieut. Birsdell~ Public works supt. Marshall. <br /> <br />SEWER REQUEST - PROPOSED HANOVER SUPERMARKET - WAPPINGERS <br /> PLAZA: <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Winglovitz~ Tectonic Engineering Consultants, <br />addressed meeting stating his firm has been retained as <br />Engineering Consultants for the proposed Hanover <br />Supermarket which is to be located in the Town of WaDDinger, <br />within Wappinger Plaza. He said he was here to discuss <br />existing agreement between the Village and Wappinger Plaza <br />regarding water and sewer capacity and said proposal was <br />presently before Town of Wappinger Planning Board to <br />construct a new supermarket approximately 54,000 sq. ft., in <br />place of of the existing Waldbaum's supermarket. <br />Mr. Winglovitz sa~id they believe there was ample reserve <br />capacity within existing agreement to accommodate the new <br />supermarket as the present plaza consumption was 13,000 gals. <br />per day and proposed use for the Supermarket was 4,432 gals. <br />per day. He said this would increase consumption to 17,442 <br />gals. Der day, which was well below the 22~500 authorized <br />under present contract. <br />He said Water Chairman Travis has already given water <br />approval and the Town of Wappinger Planning Board has <br />requested written authorization from the applicant for sewer <br />hook up. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on the Pump Station located at the rear <br />of the property and Tr. Juliano reported same has caused <br />problems in the past a~d inguired if it had ever <br />been upgraded~ <br /> <br />Mr. winglovitz said they were now part of the Town Sewer <br />district and their Engineer, as part of their review, has <br />asked for additional sewer easements for the installation of <br />a new pump station at the site to service the entire facility <br />but doesn't know when same will be constructed. <br /> <br />Tr. Cerino said present Pump station discharges into our <br />sewer~system and the new station will be connected into <br />Town's system~ <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Juliano that the <br /> <br /> <br />
