<br />MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD JANUARY 11, 2018 <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chairman, Trent Atkinson, Don McCormick, George Moran, Lisa <br />Cobb (Attorney) and Mary Ann Loncto <br />Absent: Bonnie Kieffer and Bob Relyea <br />Others Present: Bob Henshaw Jamie Machado <br /> Christian Moore Allen Firstenberg <br /> John Chase James Chase <br /> Dennis Lynch Charles May <br /> Bryan Murphy Christian Paggi <br /> Chris Lapine Matt Alexander <br /> Anthony D’Arinzo Lou Levy <br /> Vincent Dang Jessica McKeon <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Motion by Mr. Atkinson, seconded by Mr. McCormick <br />to approve the minutes from the December 7, 2017 meeting as written. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />RPH AUTO, 2780 ROUTE 9 <br />First on the agenda was the proposal from RPH Auto for renovations to site at 2780 W. Main <br />Street. Mr. Robert Henshaw, owner of the business and Mr. Jamie Machado, Architect for the <br />project were present. Dutchess County Department of Planning’s letter dated January 3, 2018 <br />was read and reviewed. (Copy of letter is on file in the Planning/Zoning offices). KC <br />Engineering’s comment letter was also read and reviewed. (Copy of this letter is on file in the <br />Planning/Zoning offices). It was recommended by the Planning Board that applicant update his <br />screening plan and screen all four sides of the property and add privacy slats to the fence. If the <br />applicant chooses not to use black then he should use a color that ties in with the building. Four <br />Corners Planning comment letter dated January 1, 2018 was read and reviewed. (Copy of this <br />letter is on file in the Planning/Zoning offices). It was further recommended by the Planning <br />Board that some kind of landscaping be added to reduce the visual impact along W. Main Street <br />and ask Ms. Greig for some recommendations. Applicant stated they would be repurposing the <br />canopy to use as a shade canopy and taking down posts and fuel sign. Applicant was asked to <br />replenish his escrow account with an additional $1,000.00. <br /> <br />EXOTIC NAILS AND SPA, 1582 ROUTE 9 <br />Next on the agenda was the proposed sign and new owner for Exotic Nails and Spa, 1582 Route <br />9. Mr. Vincent Dang, owner of the business and Mr. Jessica McKeon from Fast Signs were <br />present. It was stated that there is a consent form on file from the owner of the property. Mr. <br />McCormick made a motion to approve the continuation of the same use, seconded by Mr. <br />Atkinson. Unanimously carried. The sign was then discussed. Mr. Murphy confirmed that the <br />sign conformed to the Zoning Code and applicant submitted color samples for the file. Mr. <br />Atkinson made a motion to approve the sign as presented, seconded by Mr. Moran. <br />Unanimously carried. Applicant was reminded to go to the Zoning Office to pay for his sign <br />before it was installed. <br /> <br />MID HUDSON SUBARU, 1715 ROUTE 9 <br /> <br />
