Emergency Meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Village of Wappingers Falls <br /> January 2, 2018 <br /> 5:30pm <br /> Present: Matt Alexander, Scott Davis, Brian Whitten, Jason Enson, Ronnie Komornik, Kevin <br /> Huber, John Chase, with Village Attorney Craig Wallace on the telephone. <br /> Trustee Jason Enson left for a fire call shortly after the roll call <br /> A motion was made by Ronnie Komornik to change the language on the January 16, 2018 ballot <br /> pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court dated January 2, 2018 to: <br /> "Shall the Village of Wappingers Falls abolish its Police Department? The Village intends to <br /> enter into a shared services agreement with Dutchess County which will provide for the <br /> assignment of full time Deputy Sheriffs to the Village of Wappingers Falls and the creation of a <br /> Sheriff's substation in the Village of Wappingers Falls." <br /> Seconded by Trustee Brian Whitten <br /> A roll call vote was held <br /> Scott Davis Aye <br /> Brian Whitten Aye <br /> Ronnie Komornik Aye <br /> Kevin Huber Aye <br /> John Chase Aye <br /> Matt Alexander Aye <br /> Jason Enson Absent <br /> A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Trustee Scott Davis, seconded by John Chase (5 <br /> Aye, 1 absent) <br />
