A special emergency meeting was held on Friday, June 16, 2000 <br />at ~:00 P.M. in the American Hall. <br /> <br />News media previously notified and Notice of meeting posted. <br /> <br />Roll call: <br /> <br />Present: Tr. Juliano, Tr. Cerino, Tr. Lawrence, Tr. Davis and <br />Tr. Bain. <br /> <br />AUDIT BILLS: <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Juliano, seconded by Tr. Lawrence that all <br />audited bills be paid. <br /> <br />Tr. Davis discussed the pagers used by the various <br />departments and said prices fluctuated. <br />He said we should request estimates from the various vendors <br />as a possible means of reducing costs. <br /> <br />Tr. Davis said, regarding the the three bills for Sedore and <br />O'Sullivan, he had some questions regarding same and the <br />Attorney should be present when they are discussed. <br /> <br />Above motion rescinded and a motion was made by Tr. Lawrence, <br />seconded by Tr. Bain that all audited bills be paid, <br />excepting the three accounting bills for Sedore and <br />O'Sullivan as there were some unanswered questions, which <br />will be resolved at the re-convened regular meeting when the <br />Village Attorney is present, Carried. <br /> <br />Tr. Lawrence recommended sending letters to each Department <br />head requesting a list of materials which are used in each <br />department . <br /> <br />SUM~.R RECREATION PROGRAM: <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Juliano that the <br />candidates, as recommended by the Recreation Department, for <br />the Su~er Recreation program, be approved. Carried. <br />List follows minutes of meeting. <br /> <br />FIRE INSPECTOR: <br /> <br />Tr. Lawrence recon~mended a letter of appreciation be sent M~. <br />Sanfilippo for the services he has rendered to the Village. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Juliano, seconded by Tr. Lawrence Mr. <br />Sanfilippo's resignation as Fire Inspector be accepted and <br />John Enson be appointed as his replacement. <br /> <br />Tr. Juliano sald Mr. Enson has excellent qualifications and <br />has also been certified. <br /> <br /> <br />
