Regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees <br />was held on Wednesday, August 9, 2000 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Meeting transferred to the Knights of Columbus bldg. due to <br />the size of the audience. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Belding, Tr. Juliano, Tr. Cerino, Tr. <br />Lawrence, Tr. Marshall, Tr. Davis, Tr. Bain and Atty. <br />Viglotti. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> <br />Village Justices' reports and Summary of Zoning fees <br />collected for July, 2000 on file at Village Hall. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Juliano, seconded by Tr. Lawrence to accept <br />above reports. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter from Community Services, with attached lease renewal <br />for the old Post Office, for the period 10-1-2000 to 9-30- <br />2001, showing a 3.2% increase based on the Consumer Price <br />Index. Copies forwarded Board. <br /> <br /> · Sa' <br />Tr. Julzano~Ais increase has raised our monthly payment to <br />$1996.2~, nearly $2,000. per month. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Cerino that above <br />lease renewal be approved. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter from Dutchess County Planning Board with attached map <br />showing parcel at Market and McKinley streets, to be sold at <br />public auction. Village Board and Assessor copied. <br /> <br />Tr. Lawrence said property was an oblong strip situated off <br />Market Street, approaching Industrial Park, which, in his <br />opinion, would be of no municipal use to the Village. <br /> <br />Discussion followed and no action taken.. <br /> <br />Letter from Denise Schi~mer, Mount Gulian Society, requesting <br />pe~,ission to post sign in Mesier Park advertising their <br />upcoming Revolutiona~sf War Living Histo~f weekend. Park <br />Commission copied. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Davis, seconded by Tr. Lawrence that above <br />request be granted. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter from Stephen Ciaccio, 25 Gilmore Blvd. S., inquiring <br />as to start up date for uncompleted renovation (sidewalk and <br />Curb) project at Oak Park.
