A Public Hearing on a proposed local law which would amend <br />Local Law ~3, with the addition of another street was held on <br />Tuesday, August 29th at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Hall <br /> <br />No one present voiced an opinion pro or oon on said local <br />law. <br /> <br />Public Hearing closed 7:15 P.M. <br /> <br />A Public Hearing on a Local Law which would elect a <br />Retirement Incentive program, as authorized by Chapter 86, <br />Laws of 2000, for eligible employees. <br /> <br />Mayor Belding read text of proposed law and memo from State <br />Comptroller, H. Carl McCall., which provides a summary of <br />legislation and the impact it will have on both, the <br />Village's staff and the staff working at the Reitrement <br />system. He said the enactment of a permanent cost of li~ing <br />adjustment for retirees was the major milestone and other <br />significant benefit improvements have been enacted into law <br />which include additional retirement credits, and elimination <br />of contributions. <br /> <br />Public Hearing closed 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Leo D.
