Davis said he didn't want to make a determination for the <br />street without the residents' input. <br />He said whenever traffic backs up on Route 9, cars speed down <br />Liss Road and he doesn't have a solution to the problem, <br />unless the residents of Liss Road come forward and voice <br />their opinion. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain suggested he and Tr. Davis have an infoi-mal meeting <br />with the residents at a neutral location to discuss possible <br />solutions to the problem and report back 'to Legislative <br />Committee. He discussed various traffic patterns on the <br />street which creates problems encountered. <br /> <br />Commissioner Capra reiterated which was previously stated, <br />that problems occur when there is a back up on Route 9, and <br />Officers are usually handling same. He will continue to post <br />Officers in the area at peak hours; he said they can use <br />Unmarked car and radar detail as a deterrent; <br />Commissioner Capra said people who bypass Route 9 are not <br />Village residents and Just people taking short cuts. <br /> <br />Barbara Davis said problem exists from both ends of street. <br /> <br />Public Hearing closed 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Village Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
