Minutes following the 06/12/2019 Village Board Meeting "PLEASE TURNOFF CELL PHONES AND PAGERS PRIOR TO START OF HEARING /MEETING. THANK-YOU". Welcome to the Village of Wappingers Falls monthly regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees today Wednesday, June 12, 2019, 7PM. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG: RECOGNITION/ANNOUNCEMENTS/SPECIAL EVENTS Mayor Alexander recognized the Wappingers Falls Business &Professional Association for all they do and most recently the 4th Annual "Festival at the Falls". Mayor also thanked all the volunteers who made this event so successful. Mayor also presented Ms. Cindy Latino with a plaque thanking her for her contribution over many years to the betterment of the village. .AVMs. Cindy Latino Resolution of Recognition WHEREAS: Cindy Latino has served our Village and community for many years as a volunteer and board member of many activities; WHEREAS: Cindy Latino has offered her time to the entire Village with activities such as; Meals on Wheels, Rotary, Wappingers Falls Business & Professional Association and recently Village Recreation Department also many other organizations and activities; WHEREAS: Cindy Latino has been and is very active with the Wappingers Falls Business & Professional Association and most recently the 4th Annual " Festival at the Falls" and is a regular attendant and participant at village public meetings ; WHEREAS: Cindy Latino has dedicated much of her time to true volunteerism and positive participation in many village and community events; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That Mayor Matt Alexander, the Village Board, and all of the citizens of the Village express our sincerest gratitude to Cindy Latino for her generous service to our Village. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Mayor Matt Alexander be directed to deliver this resolution to Cindy Latino at the Village Board Meeting June 12th, 2019. Most Appreciatively, Page 1 of 9
