The regular n~cting of the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees w-as held on <br />Wednesday, August 1i, 1995 at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinzmann, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Cerino, Tr. Shay, Tr. Traver, Tr. <br />Hemingway, Tr. Goebel, Atty. Viglotti: <br /> <br />June 14th regular meeting: <br />Minutes of above mg~cting had ~c~n duplicated and amended. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Shay tb~t the above minutes be accepted. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />_Minutes of the July 12th Public Hearings and r~gular ~ting of the Mayor and <br />Village Board of Trustccs had been duplicated and previously presented to <br />Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDonizio, seconded by Tr. Goebel that the above minutes be <br />accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Agenda <br /> <br />Report on maintenance of Mesier Park: <br />Mr. John Regan, ~irman of the Park Cu~ssion, addressed meeting and thanked <br />the Mayor and Board of Trustees for their efforts to improve the appearance of <br />the Park, especially the repaying of the roadway. <br /> <br />He stated there was a' probl~n with the T~hdscaper in that he has not ful- <br />filled the terms of his contract regarding adherence to mowing schedule and <br />unsatisfactory trimming operations. <br /> <br />Mr. Regan reported that, prior to contract period, h~ spoke to the contractor <br />regarding restriction on mowing during Park activities and Gazebo functions <br />and this stipulation Ms ignored on several occasions. <br /> <br />Mr. Regan recommended the Board confer with the Contractor and advise him <br />of these findings and unless he fulfills his contrach~al obligations, he <br />be released. <br />He stated Contractor has been paid in full to date. <br /> <br />Tr. Goebel to m~et with the ~Contractor o~ Aug. lith at 1:00 P.M. in an effort <br />to settle this dispute. <br /> <br />Pmport on proposed Saint Patrick's Parade: <br />Mr. David Costello addressed meeting reporting he was working with Mrs. Oonnelly <br />and Mrs. Brogen, representatives of the Kevin Barry Society, investiging <br />various channels to put fOrth a oa,',,',~ttee to organize and sponsor parade. <br /> <br />Mrs. Connolly said she presented proposal to the Club and they felt same was a <br />worthy project and ~_re receptive to the idea. <br />She said Society had adec~_ate insurance coverage for this event/ <br /> <br /> <br />
