Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on 11-10-87 <br />at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett~ Tr. Greco~ Tr. Craft, Tr. Komornik, Tr. <br />Hemingway, Tr. Breglia & A~ty. Viglotti. Absent: Tr. Losecco. - ' <br /> <br />Minutes: ~inutes of the last' regular meeting held 10-14-87 and special <br />meeting held 10-21-87 had been dupli~cated and previously presented <br />Board members. <br /> <br />Tr. Greco reported the $534,000. in the Tri-Municipal fiscal budget <br />mentioned at the last regular meeting covers the period January to <br />December, 1988. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Hemingway, seconded by Tr. Craft that the above minutes <br />be accepted as corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Pantaleo~ North St.~ reported he has been trying to get drain <br />repaired in front of his driveway since May. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett replied we would make an on site inspection tomorrow <br />after 3:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mrs. Masterson reported petition requesting a four way stop at the <br />intersection of Mesier and Him streets was presented to the Village <br />Board at their last regular meeting and a public hearing was to be <br />scheduled this evening. <br /> <br />Atty. Viglotti apologized for the delay stating he misunderstood <br />the interpretations of the Legislative Comm. and stated same would <br />be on the Dec. agenda. <br /> <br />Agenda: <br /> <br />Report on proposed Route 9: <br />Tr. Breglia reported DOT had set a deadline of 10-30-87 as <br />development of a land parcel on the north end of Liss Rd./but we <br />received an extension. He stated a letter has been sent DOT outlin- <br />ing plans which we wanted incorporated into the project which are <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. Clear the underbrush, put in appropriate plantings and instal} <br /> a bench and street light. <br /> <br />Includeda high curb on Liss Rd. restricting parkin9 ~o the street. <br /> <br />Install a high chain link fence at the west end of the parcel to the <br />water's edge to restrict exit from the area to public land. <br /> <br />Construct a small Parking lot with no more than 6 car capacity bu~ <br />only if the above indicated are going to be accomplished. <br /> <br />Tr. Breglia reported residents dontt just want a parking lot and <br />there was a misunderstanding between the Village & DOT. <br /> <br /> <br />
