Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees which was held on September 14, 1988. Those present: Gregory Hemingway, Mayor; Trustees Greco, Ward, Komornik, Hargrave, Breglia, Kolb. Louis Viglotti, Village Attorney. Others present: Tom Herring, Supt. of Public Works Eileen Masterson Mr. & Mrs. Robert McDowell Mrs. T. Laffin Mrs. E. Hinzmann Cindy ~, Chairperson of Recreation Tony Pacio, Deputy Zoning Enforcement Officer Residents of Clapp Avenue, Village Meeting was called to order 7:30 p.m. Motion by Tr. Breglia, seconded by Tr. Hargrave that the minutes of the last minutes be approved as written and forwarded to all Board members. All in favor; motion carried. Minutes approved. Public Works: Mr. Herring reported that they had finished the drainage on the Egan property. It is not corrected but it will help slow it up. Theyhave to get the pipe to the creek. Tr. Greco asked ifTri-Municipal could help. Mr. Herring stated there is a 2½ ft. difference. It was suggested that they meet with Mr.Lapar on this matter. Discussion followed. Mr. Herring and Mr. Cuchelo were there. Mr.Lapar is away. It was suggested that perhaps Frank Savelli be contacted as he previously worked in this area when TrirMuni started. Mr. Herring then stated all trucks, sanders, etc. are being serviced and repaired. They still have a few sidewalks and curbs to do. Electirc Light committee stated they had nothing to report. Fire had nothing to report. Legislative had nothing to report. Library had nothing to report. Mrs. Cindy Latino, chairperson of recreation, stated that over the summer they had about 150 kids taking part in the program. They took a boat trip on the Hudson which all enjoyed and they are also going to Shea Stadium.
