A Public H~aring on a proposed local law to provide for the Codification of the <br />Local Laws, Ordinances and certain resolutions of the Village of Wappingers <br />Falls, w~s held on July 10, 1996 at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinzmann, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Cerino, Tr. Traver, Tr. Marshall, Tr. <br />Hemingway, Atty. Viglotti. <br /> <br />Also present: Assessor WaLker, Zoning Officer Alfonso, Eileen Masterson, Hank <br />DiMarco, Bob Juliano, Ed Keeler, Donald aD~] Kathy Mazochi, James Bain, Laura <br />Ann Bain, Tony Pacio Charles McCluskey, Police Commissioner Terwilliger, J~an <br />Laffin and Edna Hinzmann/ <br /> <br />Mayor Hinmnann reviewed the Table of Contents of the proposed law which included <br />the various types of legislation contained therein. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Juliano discussed a local law which had been proposed a few months back <br />which was entitled "Property Mainteuz~nce Law". <br />He said there.~were three chapters in the new Code reserved for this legislation <br />and he was concerned that this law would be inserted which had been tabled because <br />the residents disapproved of same. <br /> <br />Atty. Viglotti reported Local Law #5 of 1995 was a proposed law which was never <br />enacted and had been referred back to <br /> <br />Mayor Hin~nann reported above local law was a dead issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Mazochi inquired as length of t/me it took L~GISLATIVE Cc~n. to c~3tete the <br />Code and Tr. Traver replied about two years of review between the various comm- <br />ittees and Departments. <br /> <br />Mr. ~azochi reported many laws have been cbm2aged within the Code and it wasn't <br />fair to the public to just limit a PUBLIC Hg. to half an hour. <br /> <br />Mr. Mazochi also questioned the legality of different sections of the Water <br />Department Rules and Regulations. <br /> <br />It was detennined that copies of the Code could be let out on a rental basis <br />and that further Public Hea. r. ings on the Code would be conducted. <br /> <br />Public Hearing close 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
