The regular mccting of the Mayor and Village Board of Trustcc~ was held on <br />Wednesday, June 11, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. i~ the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Belding, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Lawrence, Tr. Hemingway, Tr. Goebel <br />and Atty. Viglotti. <br />Absent: Trustees Cerino (illness) & Marshall (business). <br /> <br />A~tion on ~nut~: <br /> <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting May 14, 1997 had ~bc~n duplicated and previously <br />presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Mr. D~co had noted sc~e corrections under t~he Zoning amer~t discussions. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDcmizio, seconded by Tr. H~gway that the above minutes be accepted <br /> <br />Village Justices' reports and S~t~ery of zoning fees collected for May, 1997 on <br />file at the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. D~zio, seconded by Tr. Hemingway that the above reports be <br />accepted. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter frc~ S.W. Johnson Engine 0o. reportLng the following new m~mbers were voted <br />in as Active m~mbers: John Pantaline J~. , Joe Raffaele Jr., James Dansereau and <br />John Sullivan. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Hemingw~y, seconded by Tr. Goebel that the above action be ~atified. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />Letter frc~ the Wn% T. Garner Engine Co., reporting John Enson b~s resigned as <br />Second Lieuteneant and there were two expulsions for lack of participation in <br />Cc~pany functions. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Goebel, seconded by Tr. DiDcmizio that the above action be ratified. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />Letter fr~u Mr. Stanley Straub, Chairman of the Wappingers Falls Business and <br />Professional Association, suggesting Village l~ok into the possibility of more <br />visible signage for the Municipal parking lot. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Gcebel, ~conded by Tr. DiDcmizio that the above be turned over <br />to the Legislative Cu~n~ttee for review. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Peluse, representative of Marshall & Sterling, addressed m.~c in <br />reference to the Village's Insurance package. <br />He said they had made a change in Village's Insurance Cc~pany this year and this <br />was the third time in the last 5 years this has been done, each time saving the <br />Village money. <br /> <br /> <br />
