! The regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, November 13, 11997 at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion ~11. Mayor Belding requested a mc~ent of silent prayer be observed in m~nory of former Mayor, Edwin B. Hinmm~nn, who recently passed away. Roll call: Mayor Belding, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Cerino, Tr. Marshall, Tr. Lawrence, Tr. Goebel, Tr. H~ningway and Atty. Viglotti. Also present: Lieut. Birdsell, Supt. Marshall, Code Officer Alfonso and Recreation chairman Ronnie Robinson. Mayor Belding read resolutions on the death of fozmer Mayor Hinm~nn and the death of Planning Board msmber, Fiore Silvestri. (Resolutions will follow the minutes of this meeting) Minutes-. ~.Minutes of the last regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board m~mlbers held Oct. 8, 1997 ~had be~n copied and presented to Mayor and Board m~Rbers. Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Cerino that tb~ above minutes be accepted as written. Carried. Resolutions: Resolution designae-~ng offices to be filled at the r~xt general Village election. "Call of Election" Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Goebel that the above resolutions be adopted. Carried . (Text of resolutions follows the minutes of this m~at/ng) Renewal of Court lease with Cut,~,~onity Services: Atty. Viglotti reported he reviewed lease and the C.P.I. increase was minimal. Motion by Tr. Goebel, seconded by Tr. DiDcmizio that the Mayor be authorized to execute above mentioned lease. Carried. Report on Garbag. e contract renewal: Tr. Cerino reported contract expires in April of next year and since, the option to renew same was made part of the contract, we should execute that option. Motion by Tr. DiDcmizio, seconded by Tr. C~ebel that the Village execute the option to renew the Garbage contract with Royal Carting. Carried. Discussion on Snow ordinance and Snow thrown in tb~ strcct: Tr. Cerino reported the above were discussed at a Legislative Cc~n~ m~cting ar~, although we have enacted local laws covering both violations, we may want to alter the enforc~m~J~t3~.
