Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />Sept. 25, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiD~izio, Tr. A. Napoleon, Tr. Bain, Tr. <br />Fries, Tro D.O. Napoleon, Tr. Cheetha~ and Arty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Also presents Mr. ~pstein, Mr. Craft and ~tro Breault-Planning Board ~e~bers. <br /> <br />Mr. Syrles, representative of the Dime Savings Bank, addressed meeting requesting <br />properties owned by the Bank be brought into Wappingers Falls Fire District, <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Fries~ seconded by Tr. Bain that meeting go into Rxecutive <br />Session. Carried. <br /> <br />Executive Session: <br /> <br />Notion by Tr. Bain, seconded by Tr. Fries that meeting return to regular session. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnaxi read a letter from Mr. Ragonetti, Atty. for R.J. Narshall, requesting <br />a change of'zoning for Mr. Ma~shalles land on Hast Nain St. to Industrial. <br /> <br />Mr. Ragonetti reported property, consisting of 48 acres, was annexed and previously <br />classified as Planned Residential while other properties in the area were zoned <br />General Business Districts. <br />He stated property has been planned for comercial use and this would be advant- <br />ageous t~ the Village as a tax base. <br /> <br />Mr. Breault stated PR was preferred zoning. <br /> <br />Mr. Ragonetti discussed special permit section of Zoning Ordinance. <br />Tr. DiDomizio ~eported that under new proposed zonln9 ordinance, Mr. Narshall's <br />propergy is zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />Mr. ~agonetti reviewed proposed Use Schedule. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons relayed to Mr. Ragonetti that proposed ZoningO~dinance wasn't an <br />o££1cial document as same had not been adopted as yet. <br /> <br />Village and Planning Board's to meet with Mr. Marshall and his attorney on <br />Thursday, Oct. 3, 1968 to discuss reques~ for a change of zoning. <br /> <br />~ntcations: <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. J~es Ao Klein to Tr. DiDomizio in reference to granting <br />Village an easement through his property, provided same does not interfere with <br />the building he has been granted a permit to build on his property. He requests <br />Village Atty. draw up easement and forward it to his attorney. <br />Copy of letter forwarded Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br /> <br />
