Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />Oct. 23, 1968,at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor FUrnari, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. A. Nap.leon, Tr. Bain, <br />Fries, Tr. D.O. Napoleon, Tr. Cheetham and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Also present: Mr. Anthony DeMarco, Mr. Pert.ne, Mr. Giancarlo, Mr. Raymond . <br />Paggi and Mr. Fielding Browne, residents of.Brookside Dr. <br /> <br />Minutes of Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Sd. of Trustees held on <br />Sept. 25, 1968 had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio, seconded by Tr. D.O. Napoleon that the above <br />minutes be accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. DeMarco, resident of Brookside Dr., discussed 30* buffer section of <br />Zoning Ordinance between business and residential.properties. He reported, <br />it was his understanding~ buffer zone would be reduced Nnder new zoning <br />ordinance and he discussed restrictions in the Towns of Wappinger and <br />Poughkeepsie. <br />He recommended that since properties were assessed high, a 30 ft. buffer <br />strip be maintained. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari suggested above recommendation be presented at ~ublic Hearing <br />on proposed Zoning Ordinance and Village has been made aware of problem, <br /> <br />Communications: <br /> <br />Copy of a letter from Village Water Dept. to Mr. ~dward Searle, Dime Savings <br />Bank of Brooklyn, reporting approval was granted to furnish water to Tudor <br />Apts., Ltd., Channingville Rd** in accordance with the following conditions: <br />1) To be installed per plans approved by the Water Bd. and Dutch,ss County <br />Bd. of Health, 2) Any construction beyond the present 42 units will require <br />a storage tank of suitable capacity and height as determined by the Water <br />Bd. 3) Item 2 to be binding on the Dime Savings Bank and their successors <br />entitled. 4) That above is legal per decision of our Village Atty. The <br />plans and specifications for installation of water as filed with the Planning <br />Bd. and reviewed by the Water Bd. on this date and further modified as <br />releated to the installation of hydrants .as recommended by the Supt. of <br />Water are the plans herewith approved. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomizio stated he thought Village Bd. was to approve plans. <br /> <br />Mayo~ Furnari replied policy in the past was the Water Bd. would use their <br />discretion. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomizio reported it was specifically stated that plans be turned over <br />to Village Bdo <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari replied plans have been on file since last month and he accepted <br />same in behalf of the Village <br /> <br />Tr. A. Napoleon reported there was no formal presentation of water plans to <br />Water Bd. and that same were found in a ro~m behind the Water Dept. <br /> <br /> <br />
