~ublic Hearing on a proposed change to Zoning Ordinance was held on Feb. 6, 1969 <br />at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. A.Napoleon, Tr. Bain, Tr. <br />Fries, Tr. D.O. Napoleon, Tro Cheetham and Atty. LyOns. <br /> <br />Lyons read the following notice of Public Hearing as it appeared in the <br />S.D. News on Jan. 23, 1969. <br /> <br />NOTICB IS HERmRY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Wappingers, Falls~ Dutchess County, New York, at the <br />Mesier Homestead in said Village on the 5th day of February, 1969, at 7:40 o'c&ock~ <br />P.M., upon the question of the enactment of the fallowing ordinance. <br /> <br />Said Ordinance is described in general terms as follows: <br /> <br />An Ordinance amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of <br />Wapplngers Falls and the Official Zoning Map by changing the Planned Residenti&l~ <br />District located on the northerly side of East Main Street, between Remsen ave. <br />and Moran Ave., to exclude from such district a parcel of land. of approximately <br />4.3 acres, commonly known as the Wixson-Smith property. Such Ordinancex creates <br />a new and additional General Business District which is comprised of the parcel <br />of land above excluded from the Planned Residential District. <br /> <br />The full and complete text of the aforesaid proposed Ordinance is on file in <br />the Office of the Village Clerk where it may be examined during the regular <br />business hours of said office. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Dennett, 5 Moran Ave., inquired as to excluded portion of property <br />and Atty. Lyons replied same abutts E. Main St. <br /> <br />Mr. Poillucci inquired if there was property ownership between Mr. Osten's land <br />and apartment site. <br />Mr. Haubennestel replied he didn't know who owned property. <br /> <br />Public Hearing closed 7:50 P.M. <br /> <br />Village Clery <br /> <br /> <br />
