Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Board of Trustee~ was held on Wed.. April <br />23~ 1969 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />T~ose presents Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Bain, Xr. Fries, {r. Cheetb~m, <br />Tr. Hoolihan~ and atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari reported a 3 part report concerning fire at Imperial Towers is <br />being compiled and he distributed one c0~pleted part to Board members for <br />review, <br />Second part from Water Dept. will be duplicated and presented to Board members, <br /> <br />Minutes of Annual Meeting held 4/7/69 had been duplicated and previously <br />presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Fries; seconded by Tr. Bain that the above m~nutes be accepted <br />as written. Carried. <br /> <br />'Communications: <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Ken Jennings repgrting Little League will have open- <br />ing day ceremonies on May 3, 1969 at Veteran's F~eld and Senior League will <br />have opening day ceremonies on May 24~ 1969 at Temple Field. He invites all <br />Village officials to attend and requests permission to conduct a parade from <br />the'Johnson Fife'House to Veterans Field on 5/3/69. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Fries, ieconded by Tr. DiDomizio that the 4bore request be <br />granted. Carried, <br /> <br />L6tter of appreciation was read from the family of Mr. ~dward Buck. Filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Daniel Ge Ryan. Ass't. Vi~e President of Dutch,ss <br />Bank and Trust Co. expressing gratitude on being named a depository of <br />Village Funds. Filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Franklin R. O{tman. Secretary. Bd. of Trustees of <br />the First Presbytarian Church, calling Village's attention to the hazardous. <br />condition of sidewalk in front of the Church on South Ave. Copy of letter <br />forwarded Highway Comm, <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Franklin R. Ottman. ~ecretary. Ed. of Trustees of <br />the First Presbytarian Church, requesting permission to black top the area <br />between the sidewalk knd street on Elm St., next to the Church. Copy of <br />letter forwarded Highway Dept. <br /> <br />Copy of a letter was read from Town Cl~rk. Elaine Snowden. to Mrs. Joan Mullen <br />concerning a memorial in the Mesier Park in the honor of servicemen in Viet- <br />nam. She reports such operations do n6t come under the jurisdiction of the <br />Town of Wappinger. therefore it is regretted that they cannot officially sup- <br />port their red, est. <br />Request has been forwarded Park Comm. for their recommendations. <br /> <br />Telegram was read from Wm. H. Clark Municipal Equipment, reporting first N.,Y.S. <br />Street Sanitation Conference is to be held Thursday; April 24, 1969 at 9:00 A.M. <br />at the Sheraton Inn Towne Mo{el, 300 Broadway, Albany; N.
