The regular meeting o£ the Village Board o£Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />May lO, 1967~ at 7:30 PoM. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furna~i, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. A. Napoleon, Tr. Bain, Tr. <br />Lawrence, Tro Do,. Napoleon. Tr. Sabiaand Att. James Lyons. <br /> <br />Motion by Tro A~ Napoleon~ seconded by Tro Sabia that the regular order off <br />business be dispensed wlth. Carried. <br /> <br /> ~o Rck addressed the Board-and requested their appearance at a testimonial <br /> dinner £or Doctor Jacobson on Friday~-May lB, 1967. He cited Doctor <br /> JacobsonWs services to the Village for the past 30 yea~s° <br /> <br /> Mr. Gorden and Mro.Phillips present ffrom Dutchess A~sociates~ concerning . <br /> acceptance o£ Imperial Blvd. <br /> <br /> Mr. Phillips ~n quired about results of.a recent inspection of the road and <br /> Rngineer [elley rep&ied nothing has changed. <br /> <br />Mr. ~hillips reported e££orts on the part o£ the Village has not been coop- <br />~erative ~nd his clients attitude has changed° <br /> He discussed the mortgage on the property as a result o£ a t~x analysis <br /> madee <br /> He stated tax assessments were high at $10~000. an acre compared to <br /> an acre on adjoining properties. <br /> <br /> Att. Lyons reported Dutchess Ass,co has initiated an action on their assess- <br /> ments~ but he hasntt had time to review same as yet.. <br /> <br /> Mr. Phillips stated, according to. Att. Pearse~ the nine points were a <br /> contract~ and his clients always cooperated. <br /> <br /> Eng. ~elley reported repairs to the road~ as outlined have not been made <br /> and ~r° Gorden replied minor repairsto be started Monday° <br /> <br /> ~t~. Donald Ricer Sales Manager for Motorola, addressed the Board concern- <br /> ing a Police radio. He discussed the Motorola portable radiot and out- <br /> lined features. He stated a proposal £or a complete private line with the <br /> Village, could be rented at $87.90 per month or purchased £or $~0960 <br /> Mayor Furnari thanked Mr. Rice for his report. <br /> <br /> Capt. Costa reported he has $400. in budget £or a ~alkle-Talkie and $1400. <br /> £or other equipment. He outlined condition o£ present system and recommend- <br /> ed approval be given to purchase portable radio. <br /> <br /> ~otion by Tr. DiDomizio~ seconded by Tro D.O.
