The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />March 13, lg68 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Acting Mayo~ Bain, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. A. Napoleon, Tr. Lawrence, <br />Tr. D.O. Napoleon, Tr. Cheetbam and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Minutes of last regular meeting held Feb. 14, 1968. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham, seconded by Tr. Lawrence that, since each Trustee <br />had previously received a copy of th~ minutes, reading be dismissed with <br />and they be accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Minutes of special meetings of the Village Board held March 6 & 7, 1968. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham, seconded by Tr. A. Napoleon, that since each Trustee <br />had previously received a copy of same, reading be dispensed with and ~he~ <br />be accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. A. Nap61eon that the regular order of <br />business be dispensed with. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Kenneth Jennlngs addressed the meeting as a'rePresenta~iv~ of the PAL in <br />the Village, with the consent of the Village Redreation Comm. <br />He discussed a problem in the Little League and reported as of now there <br />will be no Little League baseball in the Village. <br />Mr. Jennings reported that due to the growth in the Town and fo~ financial <br />reasons, it was thought best to split the program between the Town and the <br />Village. <br />He stated the Town wasn't in favor of this recommendation. <br /> <br />Mr. Jennings discussed background of the problem, reporting the PAL, upon <br />his recommendation, turned program over to the Committee to get the Town <br />s~arted, provided it would be s~lit later on and no action has been taken <br />by the Town towrads this goal. <br />He reported Village ~ecreation Comm. has requested Little League be brought <br />back to the Village and permission has been granted. <br />Mr. Jennings recommended program be split and Village be sponsored under <br />the PAL. <br />He reported the Town has scheduled a signing up of Village boys for th~ Town <br />program and they have been requested not to do so. <br />Mr. Jennings recommended Village Board endorse Village program under the PAL. <br />Tr. Cheetham inquired about possibility of a Village Little League starting <br />up and Mr. Jennings replied a program would be started in the Village and <br />the Town has enough children for their own p~ogram. <br /> <br /> <br />
