The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was h~ld on April 13, 1966 at <br />7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present, Mayor Furnari, Tr. VanVoorhis, Tr. DiDomiz.io, Tr. Bain, Tr. Lawrence~ <br />Tr. Napoleon, Tr. Sabia, Att. MacDonald and Att. Lyons. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari reported Engineer Hayward present and read a copy of a letter sent him <br />concerning rSport on the Liss Road pumping station and completion of a sewer Exten- <br />sion map. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Sabia, seconded by Tr. Napoleon that the reg,,l!sr order of business be <br />dispensed with. Carried. <br /> <br />Engineers Hayward and Pakan and .Mr. Jess Moffitt of the Costanzi firm present. <br /> <br />Engineer Hayward reported on specified unit of gals. per minute and stated electrical <br />units were supplied by the Costanzi firm. He stated ejectors functioned satisfact- <br />orily through tests and were put into operation, ne reported, due to high amperage, <br />several fuses were blown and opportunity had been given to make adjustments, but <br />didn't solve overload problem. He stated possible solution would be larger motors <br />but the replacement of check valves brought amperage down. <br />Mr. Hayward stated meeting has been arranged with Manufacturer~ Garmine Sanderson~ <br />to check amperage and if overloaded motors will be replaced. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomizio inquired as to who was responsible for size of motors and Engineer <br />Hayward replied manufacturer and it would be at his expense to install larger motors. <br /> <br />D~scussion followed on sewage ejectors. <br />Upon question by Mayor Furnari, Mr. Hayward reported proper recommendations are being <br />made to eliminate difficulties. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on leakage in the Liss Rd. pump house. <br />Tr. Napoleon reported equipment in the pump house not painted as yet. <br />Discussion followed on high amperage and Tr. Sabia suggested motors with larger <br />capacity be installed, for the protection of the Village. <br /> <br />Upon question by Tr. Napoleon, Engineer Hayward replied pumps guaranteed one .year <br />from time of acceptance. <br />Mr. Moffitt of_--th. C~tz-.=l of the Costanzi firm reported equipment had been specified, <br />supplied and installation approved and felt his firm not responsible for overload. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on the capacity of running motors and Mr~ Hayward reported job <br />had been based on low bid and sometimes something goes wrong. <br /> <br />Tr. Sabia inquired as to how soon would condition be alleviated. Mr. Hayward stated <br />Costanzi firm responsible for installation and if after meeting amperage isn't re, <br />duced to proper reading, motorw will be replaced at-no cost to the Village. He re- <br />ported answer should be had in two weeks time. <br /> <br />Engineer Hayward presented sewer map to the Village showing laterals and changes <br />Aade as a result of the sewer extension program. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomizio inquired as to map being given at no. cost to the Village and Mr. <br />Hayward replied he was employed on a time basis. <br />Mayor Furnari thanked Mr. Hayward for his report. <br /> <br /> <br />
