288 <br /> <br />Special meeting to be held March 16, 1967 at 7:30 P.M.~ at which time a <br />decision would be made to either accept or not accept Imperial Blvd. as <br />a Village street.' <br />Eng. Kelley and Mr. Evans, Chairman of the Planning Bd, requested to attend. <br /> <br />Parktn9 at Imperial Plaza: <br />Mayor Furnari inquired as to what measures were being taken to correct traffic <br />problems which exist at that parking lot. <br />Mr. Gorden reported meeting with Planning Bdo~ presented plans~ and it was <br />resolved, at that time, that concrete curbing~ traffic signs and buffers <br />would be installed within the next month. <br />He stated no temporary measures have been taken. <br /> <br />Snow Removal: <br />Mayor Furnaxi reported statement was made on the radio as to the inadequate <br />job Village was doing plowing snow, due to lack of equipment. <br />He answered statement, defending Village's position id coping with a storm <br />of that hey. firM and complimented Village Highway Dept. for'a fine job during <br />and after the storm. <br /> <br />Tr. Lawrence, Chairman of the Highway Comm., stated OUtside equipment would <br />be hired, should it be needed~ during any storm. <br /> <br />Mr, Minello, representative of the'O'Brien Hanufacturln9 Co., addressed the <br />Board. <br />He discussed company's backgrouhd and services which include sewer and pipe <br />cleaning services. <br />Mr. Minello recommended Village purchase a Power Rodder~ machine for maintaain- <br />ing sewers, at a cost of approximately $5~000., and that he would, at no~' <br />cost to Village~ provide a bucket machine for removal of sand from sewers, <br />for a period of 4 weeks. <br />Turned over to Sewer & Sanitation Comm. for consideration. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari reported hearings on revisions for real property assessments <br />will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week and four members <br />of the Board must be present at each meeting, <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Sabia, seconded by Tr. Lawrence that meeting go into Executive <br />session. Carried. <br /> <br />~xecutive Session <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Sabia~ seconded by Tr. Lawrence that meeting return to regular <br />session. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio, seconded by Tr. Napoleon that the Village Treasurer <br />be notified and authorized to re-instate a tax exemption for the Baptist <br />Church on South Ave., effective next taxable status date. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon, seconded by Tr. Sabia that the Village Treasurer be <br />authorized to transfer $188,36 from the S~wer Bond Account to the Sewer <br />Project account to close out that account. Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
