Letter was read from Mr. Joseph Casey, Commande~, V.F.W., requesting <br />permission to have V.F.W. Parad~ on Sunday~ June ?th., at 1:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Metion by Tr. Fitzpatrick and seconded by Tr. Temple to grant permission <br />to hold V.F.W. Parade. Carried <br /> <br />Letter was read from Richard Lingo, Town Supervisor, in reference to fin- <br />ancial aid for playgrounds and Health Program. He said he is unable to <br />give this aid because he has been advised by Town Attorney that this is <br />illegal. Mayor Furnari said he would communicate with him on these matters. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the Wm. T. Garner Engine Co., submitting their list <br />of Officers for the coming year are as follows: Captain: William Brower, <br />1st. Lieutenant: Calvin Lawerence, 2nd. Pierce, Director of the Division for <br />Youth, requesting the name or names of any candidates for Bravery or <br />Service to the Community. Captain Costa said there were no candidates he <br />knew of. <br /> <br />Police Justice Eagen's report for the month of April was read showing~- <br />a total of $655.00 collected in fines. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Temple and seconded by Tr. DiDomizio that report be accepted <br />as read. Carried <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Kenneth J. Jennings, Senior Little League Rep., <br />inviting all Village Officials to the o~ning day ceremonies to be held <br />at the Bleachery Field on May llth., 196~, at 12:00 noon. Ail members were <br />urged to attend. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Joseph P. Silvestri, Downey Ave.~ in, reference <br />to the walks and curbs by his house. Letter was turned over to Trustees <br />Temple and DiDomizio of the Highway Comm. <br />Letter was read from Irving R. Faulkner, Clerk of the Vestry at the Zion <br />Episcopal Church, requesting Special Police for traffic duty on Sunday <br />mornings for three hours. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Fitzpatrick and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that this Police <br />Duty be provided..Carried <br />Letter was read from Mr. John W. Haubennestal urging all Village Officials <br />to participate in the Memorial Day Parade to be held on May 30th., 196~. <br />Mayor Furnari urged all officials to attend. <br /> <br /> Letter was read from Joseph A. Fries, Chairman of the Water Commissioners, <br /> submitting~ a list of unpaid water bills as of April 13th., 1965, for the <br /> amoun~ of $ 1653.36 to be applied on the 1965 Tax Roi1. <br /> Motion by Tr.
