The B~gular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on June <br />10th., 1965 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. VanVoorhis, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Temple, <br />Tr. Cheetham, Tr. Napoleon, Attorney Pearse and Treasurer McDonald. r. <br />Fitzpatrick was absent due to illness. <br /> <br />Minutes of Last Regular Village Board Meeting were read by the Clerk. <br /> <br />Paragraph on improvement to the Wappingers Creek was ordered deleted <br />from the minute~ by the Board. Mayor Furnari stated that the man who <br />surveyed the streets was Bob Cardascia and not Gardascia. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio and seconded by Tr. Cheetham that minutes be <br />accepted as corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />P$~t~ons to be nresented: None <br /> <br />Commun~eat ~ons: <br /> <br />Mayor stated he received a letter from Mr. Charles Dodge, American <br />Legion Commander, stating that he had failed to acquire the services <br />of a band for next year's Memorial Day Parade. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that the SteWart <br />Air Force Band be contacted for next year's Memorial Day Parade as <br />proposed by John Haubennestal. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Antonio Silvestri, 2~ Spring St. Wappingers <br />Falls, N.Y., complaining on condition Sf sidewalks in front of his <br />home. Letter was turned over to Sup't. Berinato. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the Federal Communications Commission. Mayor <br />stated he received a phone call from Mr. Normandin, asking for the <br />list of complainants. Mr. Normandin stated that poor television <br />reception in area is caused by faulty aerials. Mayor turned list of <br />complainants over to him. Ordered filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Albert Epstein, merchant in Village, remind- <br />ing Board of their committment to pave sidewal'ks along Main Street. <br />Mr. Epstein has been notified of proposed improvements. Letter ordered <br />filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the New York State Department of Civil Service <br />stating its approval for Village to Join Hospital Plan. Clerk was <br />ordered administrator of this program. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Anthony Caccamo~ Director of Art, Wappingers <br />Central School, thanking the Board for making the Art Exhibition a <br />success. Letter ordered filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Joseph A. Fries, Chairman of the Board of <br />Wate~ Commissioners, submitting the financial statement of that <br />Department for the year ending May 31st., 196~. <br /> <br /> <br />
